Story of Creation- Genesis 1
1. On the First day God created the universe
2. Then he created light and made night and day
3. On the second day God created the sky
4. On the third day God created the Earth and the sea and the plants
5. On the fourth day God created the Sun, Moon and the stars
6. On the fifth day God created the animals of the air and sea
7. On the sixth God created Humans and the animals to fill the Earth
8. On the seventh day God rested

"The Fall"- Genesis 3
1. A serpent tricks Eve into stealing an apple from the forbidden tree in Eden
2. She shares the fruit with Adam
3. God comes down from heaven to confront Adam and Eve
4. He punishes the serpent by forcing him to crawl on the ground and be the enemy of mankind
5. God punishes Eve by giving her painful childbirth and being ruled over by Adam
6. Adam is punished by having to work hard to produce food from the land
7. Both are banished from Eden
8. A flaming sword guards Eden, not allowing anyone to enter
"The Flood"- Genesis 6
1. The population of Humans on Earth began to rapidly grow
2. God saw the wickedness of Man and decided to destroy them as he regretted creating them
3. But then God found Noah
4. Noah was a good and righteous man
5. God told Noah of his plans to destroy mankind but told Noah to make an ark out of wood
6. He also instructed Noah to gather two animals of every species, one male and one female, to be passengers on the ark
7. God told Noah that once he wiped out the Earth that Noah and his family would begin it again
Cain and Abel- Genesis 4-6
Cain and Abel were both sons of Adam and Eve
1.Cain worked the soil, and Abel herded livestock
2.Cain and Abel both brought offerings to the Lord, and the Lord looked with favor on Abel's, but not Cain's
3. Later Cain killed Abel
4. When the Lord discovered that Cain had killed Abel, he cursed Cain

5. God was only testing Abraham's devotion and thus blessed Abraham's descendants for his devotion

3. Moses was just a baby and his mother hid him away in a basket and sent him down the Nile
4. The daughter of the Pharaoh found Moses adrift an raised him as her own
5. One day Moses saw a Hebrew man being beaten by and Egyptian and killed the Egyptian guard
6. He was forced to flee Egypt and ran to Midian
7. There he married a priests daughter

1. Job was a very wealthy man who owned livestock and land and had ten children
2. He was also a very righteous man
3. God decided to test Job's devotion and took all of his possessions from him
4. Instead of cursing God for this misfortune Job fell to the ground and worshiped the Lord
5. In doing so Job passes God's test

The Book of Ruth
1. Naomi, her husband and her two sons flee Bethlehem to escape the famine and head towards Moab
2. While in Moab the two sons get married
3. Eventually while in Moab Naomi's husband dies and so do the two sons
4. Naomi is left only with her two daughter-in-laws, Ruth and Orpah
5. Naomi and Ruth return to Bethlehem, while there Ruth meets Boaz a cousin of her former husband
6. Ruth and Boaz marry and have a son who is the grandfather of King David

6. The baby was named Jesus and was the son of God, and worshiped so

7. They tried to find a reason to kill him but all their testimonies were proven false
8. The high priest asked him if he was the son of God, he responded yes and was beaten
9. Peter was in the courtyard and when asked if he was one of Jesus' disciples he denied it

1. Jesus gathers his disciples and tells them that on the night he dies they will abandon him
2. Peter replies and states that he will never disown him
3. Jesus insists that on that night he will deny him three times before the rooster crows

4. He also met a man named Simon who helped carry the cross for Jesus
5. Jesus was forced to wear a crown of thorns fashioned for him by the soldiers
6. He was then nailed to the cross and crucified
7. He stayed on the cross for three hours and finally with a cry out to God, he died
